Does anyone know how to adjust the line weight of the text in a dimension? I have recently changed the font within my dimensions and the text is now coming out really light at about a 1 or so. Also I have changed the font within my schedules from arial to city blueprint and am having the same problem with line weights there. Please advise...
Thank you in advance,
April

1. Settings . Annotations > Dimensions > Linear > Line Wight.
2. Select Text properties > lineweight. ( or bold maybe ? )

Beegee,
Thanks for the response. I have done what you suggested in regards to the dimension line weights and that setting only changes the dimension line line weight not the line weight of the actual numbers- they always stay the same. In regards to your second suggestion, which text properties are you speaking about? The schedule view properties do not have it listed nor does the object styles or line styles...

When you have the text element properties box , click edit and that will open the type properties, where you will see line weight.
In schedules, select the Appearance tab, and then you can change the header and body text , text size, bold , italic etc.

Text in Revit uses TrueType fonts. As such it does not have a line weight. To get bolder text, go to the dimension's type properties, and either set your text to Bold, or select a different font.

And so, ... the line weight control in the properties dialogue box controls .... the "invisible" text selection box only ??

It controls weight of leader lines.

Of course ! ( I knew that  )
Shows you how often I need to change the lineweight of my leaders.
