Roof as Ceiling - get the line out

OK - so thinking out of the box, I have used roof objects to get a curved ceiling for a church.
I have intersecting curved "ceilings" from side windows.

I cannot get the upper line out of the intersection "ceiling" in elevation.

Can someone give me any ideas on how to get this straightened out???

If you are modeling in-place already why not the ceiling category? Regardless, just make the void cut at the outer edge of the main ceiling instead of the inner edge. You'll still see an "extra" line because the "gables" are tilted but the extra line will diminish into the vertical side line.
