Printing- FDO no transparancy

I have created a drawing with FDO connections. I styled them to have transparency, but when I print, it prints solid over my image..... Any ides?

Command: MAPPLOTTRANSPARENCY
Enter new value for Map Plot Transparency [On/<oFf>]: on
Plot with Transparency is on. :)

It was on. But now it crashes. Autodesk just told me there is a bug in it. If you have any Civil 3D objects in the drawing it will crash. They dont know when they will get it fixed.
