What makes a Curtain Panel a "Door"?

Is there any way to change a Curtain Panel to tag and schedule like a door as in "Curtain Wall Sgl Glass.rfa" that comes with the Revit install?

The only thing I see different is an "Assembly Description" = "Glazed Doors & Entrances" greyed-out type parameter. I don't see any way to get at that.

I suspect that the answer is no, and one has to start with "Door - Curtain Wall.rft"

You are correct. You just need to start from the correct template.
