Masking Region

I am working on detailing a wall section and the connection it has with the deck above. i have two conditions, a non rated wall and a 1 hour rated wall. Well what I am trying to do is put a masking region at the top of the wall so I can insert a fire resistive joint system but the masking region itself has an outline and I was wondering if there was anyway to hide the lines that outline the region.

Change the linetype to "invisible line".

I already tried to make the lines that make up the region invisilbe and it doesn't work.

Edit the masking region. Select the lines and change their type to <Invisible Lines> in the drop-down type selector box.
