I'm not very good with with families but I'm trying to create a new one. Basically I want to edit the standard GWB family to add a wavy line on one edge. If I edit the family and draw some lines to make the wave it will only stretch the last end point of the last line I drew. I think I need to make some sort of repeating element I'm just not sure how to do that. See the attached family.
Thanks!
Josh

Sorry about that. Not sure why it didn't work.

You could create generic detail family with arraying the shape based on formula that calculates no. of array required based on length of the family. and then nest that into the GWM family and constrain its end with two end reference planes.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not sure how I would even go about doing that? How to you make an array based on a formula? Any help would be great!

That would require more space than we have here probably if step by step. Google Paul Aubin and see if he has anything relevant. Or ask the revitkid (http://therevitkid.blogspot.com). He'll be gratis. Paul would do it for beer, but his wife probably insist on cash.
