Is it possible to get the top rails to connect with the corner posts?

We have a simple pipe rail stair raiilng with 40mm top rail, 40mm end posts, and 40mm corner posts all round.

When I set this up in Revit, I can't seem to get the top rail to fillet (in acad terms) with the end post. Also, at the landing, I expect the top rail to have a vertical segment to make it up to the handrail height for the next flight. Here the corner post extends up to the higher handrail, and the horizontal top rail at the landing doesn't create a vertical segment.

Both settings are at "create horizontal and vertical segments".

Any help?

Is the answer a custom end post with a bit on the top that adjusts to the stair angle?

And a custom knewel a the landing?

I'm not sure about the latter part of your question, as I have seen vertical segments in some of the railings I have done. The part about rails cleaning up with one another has been issue for as long as I can remember (v. 6.1 back in 2004 when I started using it). It's one of the many issues with railings most people have on this site. Maybe one day they will improve it.
