Diagonal Sweeps and Reveals in 2010

This is something I used to do in 2009 with the void>sweep>profile but I have no idea how to get it done in 2010. Maybe I just can't find where the tools are hidden. Daryl had a video on the method in 2009. Help please!

I found where it was. Component>Model in Place>Wall>Void> Sweep>blah, blah,blah. The only thing I can't find, which I thought was under the view cube, was orient to profile. I can do it in 3D but doing it straight on seems better.

Try using the drop-down in the Steering Wheel (down arrow bottom right corner of the Wheel), not the Viewcube. It has Orient to Plane, which is what I think you are looking for.

DW, That's what I meant, the View Cube, but I still don't get the orient to profile option. Used to but not now.

Orient to Plane would do the same job, surely. Just pick the profile plane.

I know exactly what you mean, it's just that that option is not available under the Orient to Direction drop down. It used to be but I csn no longer find it.

FWIW I noticed that the trick DG used to show for earlier versions in orientating to a profile in such a sweep was missing in 2010 - but I just assumed it had moved.

Maybe it really is gone?

I can't find it anymore but I have the "show work plane" on my quick toolbar so turning it on and switching to wire frame I can spin it around to get a good view. Still, I would like to have that as a Right Click option after selecting the work plane, or at least added to the View Cube menu.
