Can anyone provide a good explaination to what the Show/Hide/Isolate options are under the Schedule tab?

If we place a room name and then delete it and replace it, it appears that it gets schedule and to hide it from the schedule view you click "Hide" If I delete it it should delete from the schedule correct?

What is the idea and though behind these options?

Thank You

The idea is that there can be a lot of data contained in those room objects, and if you are working with a MEP engineer in Revit, they could attach even more data to the rooms in the architecture file. If the room deleted completely when you deleted it from a plan view (http://docs.autodesk.com/REVIT/2010/ENU/Revit%20Architecture%202010%20Users%20Guide/RAC/files/WS1a9193826455f5ff13cfd6e1136132a36f-7150.htm), all of this data would be instantly lost. Instead the room goes "unplaced", and retains it's data, and can be placed back into the project (http://docs.autodesk.com/REVIT/2010/ENU/Revit%20Architecture%202010%20Users%20Guide/RAC/files/WS1a9193826455f5ff-54f556ca1166ac9ee9e-46c2.htm) later on, and still have all of its data.
