Autocad 2002 hangs when opening a dwg

Hi,

I Just loaded 2002 onto a new computer. If i double click on a dwg larger than 400k ( or right click and open with) autocad hangs.

If I go thru Autocad file / open it opens any size file no problem.

any Ideas?

well, then you've got the answer!

don't open from explorer. start acad and open dwgs using the autodesk modified file open dialogs
