I have a linked model that I cannot get to show up in any view other than plan views. It came that way from the architect. Ive done everything I can from the visibility graphics dialog, Revit links/Display Settings/Custom/Custom... Any ideas?

Try tiling 2 views:
1. A Plan View that the link is visible in
2. A 3D View that the link is not visible in. Turn off crop region and zoom all to fit.
Then, highlight the link in plan. It should then also show up in the 3D view.
If not, check and see if it is loaded in the 3D view under Revit Links.
Also, check Manage Links--make sure it is loaded.
Try "reload from" and point to the folder where the linked file is.
Make sure the file was actually linked, and set to appear in all views, and not just imported into only a plan view? ( maybe that is only for cad dwgs? )
As a last resort, detach the link--and try linking it in again, in a Site Plan view.
There are several choices--Origin to Origin, Center, or by Shared Location.
Pay special attention to shared coordinates--if any were established earlier.
If not, search the forums for Shared Locations and Coordinates, and then
set up the Host file to publish the location, and then make sure the Link
gets the Shared Location.
Turn on the Project Base Point and Survey Point under Model categories-Site.
Other than that, I don't have any other solutions that come to mind.
cheers..........

Also, try checking phases of your file versus the ones on the linked file and make sure your view is set to show these phases.
And why not, give a look at disciplines as well.
