I have been modifying our borders recently to tweak some of the text sizes & justification etc. While I was there I thought I'd have a play with the X-Y grid setup to display various reference grid layouts.

I have so far been unable to get anything to appear that remotely looks like a grid ref layout.

Any guidelines would be appreciated. I've read the manuals, but they're **** really, and I'm pretty PC literate, so would normally find these sort of things fairly intuitive, but obviously I'm missing something. :)

Sorry, I'm not quite sure what you're talking about. The grid settings can be adjusted within "dsettings", just type this command and a dialog box will appear. Now to change the area of the grid use "limits" - this will define the window/area.

You have to place a XY Grid down on the paper using command located in the Create Ladder flyout. There you will see Ladders, X-Y Grid Setup, and X-Zones.
