I wanted to add several commands to the quick access menu when I ctrl+click. It doesn’t bring me the access menu at all. Instead, after ctrl+click(left), it starts executing the first line of the commands among the buttons added in CUI window.

Is this this know bug/problem? I appreciate any helps on this. Thanks.

Hiro

There is no way to do that with the Quick Access Toolbar (QAT).

What I tried to mean was not QAT but the customization of Mouse Button in CUI that would display flyout toolbars after ctrl+click (left). When I ctrl+click, it starts to executing only one of the commands that I have added instead of displaying the flyout toolbars.

Toolbars only honor direct mouse clicks. You cannot use keyboard+mouse button combinations on toolbars.

I don't mean clicking the icons. What I mean is that the menu displayed as I left-click on the screen with holding ctrl key.

Our languages must be getting in the way because you have now described something else than your original question for the second time.

As you requested, I have attached the screen shots.

1) This shows the setting of shift + right click in CUI.
2) It works fine when I do shift + right click.
3) This shows the setting of ctrl + right click. (sorry I kept write "left click")
4) Here is the problem. (after doing ctrl + right click.)

Hope you understand what my frustration is. Thanks.

Hope you understand what my frustration is.I do not understand. You have Ctrl+Click for button 2 set to execute the Align command, which is exactly what AutoCAD is doing. The system is working correctly per its configuration.

I want to get the similar pop-up menu like pic #2 after clicking ctrl + right click. You say that system works fine. Then, how could I bring the pop-up menu that lists "Button 2: Align, Button 3: Break-line Symbol ....."? Could you suggest how I should do?

Nor have you created a menu to assign to that Button 2. You've assigned a command. So the CUI is working correctly.

If you want a menu displayed you need to create a shortcut menu and assign that to the Ctrl+Click for Button 2. (Untested)

As my pics show, I have created the shortcut menu, "Ctrl+Click Menu" and click & drag the commands. Then, I tried to click & drag the shortcut menu onto the "Button 2" but it diidn't let me do that. Am I doing anything wrong?

In the cui editor, right click on the "Shortcut menus" node and select "New shortcut menu". Edit this menu to have the commands you want. Note the alias. Now go to "Mouse Buttons" node and expand the "Crtl+Click" node. Select "Button 2:". In the pane on the right, edit the macro. Originally, the macro would have been "$P0=SNAP $p0=* " Edit the macro, changing "SNAP" to the alias of your new menu, for example "$P0=POP521 $p0=* "

hhayakawa,
Type CUI to go to the menu editor.
Look for the "Shortcut Menus" section in the top left panel.
Expand the section, the menu items are under Object Snap Cursor Menu.
Hope this helps!

In the cui editor, right click on the "Shortcut menus" node and select "New shortcut menu". Edit this menu to have the commands you want. Note the alias.

1. I have created the "New shortcut menu" and named “Ctrl+Click Menu”. Then, I have added the commands as shown in the SS-1.jpg. The alias is “POP521”.

2. SS-2.jpg and SS-3.jpg show the sequence as you have descrived.
3. I went back to the screen after saving the setting. “Ctrl+Click”, “Shift+Click” and “Ctrl+Shift+Click”…now all end up the same result as shown in SS-Ctrl+Click.jpg, SS-Shift+Click.jpg and SS-Ctrl+Shift+Click.jpg.
4. I went back to CUI and checked the macros of each Mouse Buttons setting (Button2: Snap Menu). They were all like, "$P0=POP521 $p0=* ". (as shown SS-4.jpg, SS-5.jpg and SS-6.jpg)
5. I changed the macro of “Button2: Snap Menu” of “Ctrl+Click” back to "$P0=SNAP $p0=* " again. Then, the other two macros also went back to "$P0=SNAP $p0=* " again. (as shown SS-7.tif, SS-8.jpg and SS-9.jpg).
6. Again, I went back to the screen and tried three different combinations of right clicks. They all ended up the same result as shown SS-Clicks.jpg. Came back to the same situation after all.

Does anyone have the solution for this?
