abbreviation of room tag

the room tags are too long in the overall plan, but not in the unit plan.
if i make room name to the abbreviation , the room name in all the views will be changed.
is there a way to make a abbreviation room name tag in overall plan, but did not influence the room tag in other views.

You need to create a shared parameter called abbreviation, load that into your room tag, add it as a label. then load it and the shared parameter into your project. Now you can have a room tag with the real name(what shows on the schedule) and an abbreviation.
