Here's the setup:
ACAD 2009,
printer set to 1200 dpi,
plotting with monochrome.ctb,
default lineweight .25 mm
Realistic Visual style (shaded)
When I plot a parallel isometric view of 3D Solids and 2D ACAD entities (lines, arcs, polylines), the 2D entities do not plot as black (monochrome.ctb) with Realistic Visual Style. How can I get the colors to plot as black for the 2D entities while plotting shaded image?
Also my lineweights do not plot for the 2D entities.
Any suggestions?

Assuming all the 2d objects are on different layers from the 3d objects and all objects are set to colour "bylayer" you could apply viewport overrides to the vp layer colours (ctb) or to the vp plot styles (stb).

Already tried your suggestions- still does not work.
Perhaps ACAD simply is not capable of plotting all ACAD colors to black with monochrome type.ctb if visual style is shaded?
By the way, for the 3D Solids I do not want to plot as black, I select the color of the layer the 3D Solids are on in the monochrome type .ctb, and instead of plot the color property as black, I choose use Object color.

I understood from your first post that you wanted all solids to plot as realistic (including colour) and all 2d objects to plot in black. What I said works for that case.
