Heck!! I found a crash bug!

Revit Crashes while you were loading a component.

Guys, Seems like it is a Bug. Revit will only crash, when you load a component. When the dialog box opens (Windows Explorer) and If the view is set to show your components in "THUMBNAILS" ..............REVIT 2010 WILL CRASH!!!

I just hope it is us......

Do you have all the latest Service Packs from the subscription center installed?

Dude ...I am on top of things here! :-D
Latest of the lastest!.....Revit, Windows, Graphic Drivers, even the freaking mouse driver...is all updated to the latest.

We have had the same problem with 2 of our users as well - We are all up to date with Service Packs and all updates too...

Keen to hear any other ideas - I am going to be logging a Support Request about it soon - so if I hear anything back about it - will post about it.

I did also notse when i have itunes open then my REVIT does crash

We are finding more and more that Matrox video cards, even w/latest updates can crash Revit when logging back in a network after going to sleep. Our machines w/Nvidia cards do not crash when logging back in. We are now running firm wide experiments to see if this holds true.

We should have a "Crash-Test & Burn" :-D Section this Forum. So users can troubleshoot and find solutions.
