Export Selected to New View

I have seen that you can export selected to an image etc. and am wondering if there is a way to 'export' selected elements into a new view without just creating the view, then copying the elements and pasting them into the new view. If anyone has any insite it would be EXTREMELY helpful.


Clarification:

I have a single drafting view with a couple separate drawings that I would like to be in separate views. I am looking for a way to highlight or select the indevidual drawing and create a new view with only that drawing inside it.

You can create a Group, or Save to New File from a Drafting View in the Browser.

You can't really "export" thru the File menu--unless you export to cad.

Groups can be either Detail or Model Groups--this sounds sort of like what you are after?

Groups can be "converted" into a new Revit Project, then Linked back into
your main project, and "bound" into it.
