How to create a key plan in the sheet family

i drew the outline of the building, group and export it. but i could not add it to my sheet family, which i want to used as a keyplan.
could you tell me how to create a keyplan in the sheet, and also you can turn on or off different units when you apply to different part of the building?

If you do a search for keyplan you'll find a number of threads with some good info. This thread is the method we use. Works pretty good. Essentially you are creating yes/no parameters. Read on.

i did research here, and know you can export the outline to CAD and import it to the title block family.
i wonders if there is more directly way to do it

We use a legend then copy it and paste same place sheet to sheet.
