Hi,

I hope somebody can help. I have created a Compound Wall which comprises the following: 102 Brick, 35 Air Flow, 65 Thermal Insulation, 100 Masonary Concrete Block. I have applied Interior Wrapping at Ends & Inserts.

My problem is when I connect a 100 Masonary Concrete Block wall with 12mm Plasterboard each side perpendicularly the Compound Wall it doesn't clean up properly unless I put the Function Structure [1} which represents the 100 Masonary Concrete Block on the Compound Wall inside the Core Boundary but then the Wrapping doesn't occur. I have tried every conceivable Function to no avail. Please see the attached image with both options. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Peter

May not be the best solution, but you could disallow join on that perpendicular wall, trim it to the inside face of the exterior wall, and then join geometry. That should clean up the Masonry layers. ;)

There´s another "workaround" that might just do the trick for you in this case.

For the "100 Masonary Concrete Block" layer, just delete the function ! You can trick Revit to do that, by setting the cursor in the "function" field > delete one of the letters > and hit OK.
The next time you go to "properties" for that wall type, the field will be left blank - The layer is still gonna be outside your core, and it´s gonna clean up nicely !

Thanks for your help, I attached the resolved version which I received today which is the same as Munkholm's solution. Cheers, Peter
