There is plenty of info out there about modeling the metal deck through the flutes but I don't see any way to modify how the modeled deck in elevation (along the flutes). No it's not usually that important but I did have one quirky job where it would have been beneficial.
What seems to appear in elevation is a solid heavy line at the top and bottom, a solid thin line about 1/10 of the way down from the top, and a dashed thin line about 1/10 of the way up from the bottom. That's the same whether the deck is 2 inches deep or 2 feet deep.
Is there any way to revise this or is it just another case of, "well it really seems like it should be able to do this?"
