View Full Version : stupid question - why can I see the walls on the floor below?

I thought I understood this view range thing, at least in Revit MEP, but at the moment I am in Revit Architecture. I drew in some walls on the first floor, but they also show up on the second floor (shown with lighter lines). My view range has a primary range bottom and view depty at 0' (even changing it to 1' doesn't fix it though), and I tried all 3 options for depth clipping. What am I missing here?

Under view properties, check that you don't have and "underlay" set. It sounds like it is set to underlay the 1st floor.
