Working in our Project Template in Revit 2010 with the SAP installed. I have a family that is not constrained properly (attached). I hit Edit Family (so i can go in to fix the family), and i get the "Remove Constraints" warning. No big deal... Im expecting that.
Except, that dialogue popping up seems to prevent the PROJECT BROWSER from switching to the Family. See the attached CAPTURE. I am in the family, and the browser remains in the project. Also note that once this happens, any subsequent family that i open does the same thing, even without the Remove Constraints pop up. The only fix seems to be to get out of Revit alltogether.
If i open families with no dialogue pop up, its fine. I cannot ascertain if its a hardware issue or an issue with Revit, since this machine is the only one with the SAP installed currently.
Also, once today when tabbing between nested families, the entire ribbon went blank and would not come back. In THAT instance, the BROWSER was the only thing i could click in... Clicking anywhere else in Revit simply returned the "error beep." I lost all of my work from that session, since you cannot save from the browser.
Can anyone else confirm or non-confirm said behavior (mainly the first issue. I doublt anyone has had the second...)?
I can work around it, but its annoying.
