Window Join at Corner

Trying to create ribbon windows around corner using auto embed. The wall always remains in the corner no matter what I try. Is there a way to allow the window to wrap and the wall go away w/o having to edit wall profiles?

A few questions:
So the ribbon turns the corner?
Are you using windows, or embedded curtain wall?
Have you tried alternate wall joins?

Try using an embedded curtainwall in a host wall, the use Cut Geometry.
Then, to get the corners to clean up, try Trim, or select the face of a mullion and use the Align command, or click the blue grip point

Another way might be to place Openings in the host wall, and then place
the curtainwall in the opening, so it is "free" or un-attached from the host wall.

Agreed...embedded curtain wall using Cut Geometry is the way to go...

I don't get it. If the curtainwall is set to auto embed why would you then use Cut Geo whic does not work by the way.

This is an issue with embedded curtain walls - if the host wall is deeper than the curtain wall than it doesn't automatically remove all of the wall in the corner. You have to use a sketch, opening, or void to cut the extra corner piece out. Obnoxious.

Sorry, am I not understanding this correctly? You want an embedded curtainwall to go all the way to the end of its host, right?

Embedded curtain walls cannot properly turned corners without help from things like in-place void cuts to cut the main wall, or edit the profile of the main wall (which defeats the purpose of auto-embed). This problem has been around since at least version 7 or before.

By using Openings in the host wall, the curtainwall is now "free"
of it's constraints and the corner cleans up nicely.

No use of voids, etc.
