I have a user who recently installed a new version of Adobe Acrobat on their workstation and it has added the PDFmaker toolbar to AutoCAD(2009) and for some reason the added menu file causes error codes during startup. I've attempted to modify the CUI by removing the file from the list and saving, but when I restart it simply reloads it again. I also tried deleting the AutoCAD subfolder located within Adobe....which solved the problems with the error msgs....until I go to modify the CUI again. Then, it gives me the errors regarding the missing files.

I would simply like to remove the PDFmaker menu file from this user's CUI permantently. Any suggestions??? lol

Although this was written for an older version of AutoCAD, I suspect the cure is the same, or close to it.

yes, the files that they mention deleting or renaming here are located within the same AutoCAD folder that I had already deleted before my first post which did solve the problem, but it created a whole new one in the process. AutoCAD was still trying to reference those menus in the CUI even after I had already deleted them from the list and saved and it didn't manifiest itself until I went back into the CUI....lol...then I got a barrage of error messages!!

Couldn't figure it out.....but, after a few restarts of ACAD....(kinda like having to purge a dwg a few times to get everything, I guess....lol)...everything went back to normal. So far, no issues..... Thanks for the help.
