I've noticed theres alot of problems with subregions and I'm sure this has come up before, but here goes.

I added a subregion, a simple half circle, to my toposurface and everything was going great until I went to the 3D view. My subregion has cut my toposurface and elevated itself above the topo, leaving a hugh hole. If I delete the subregion, the topo goes back to normal.

Would the view level or different views affect the height when in sketch mode?
I would assume not.

Can you make a screenshot of the problem?

Are you certain you created a subregion and not a building pad / separate toposurface?

Is your subregion part of that region or another one?

Good News! I semi-solved my problem.

I couldn't figure out what was going wrong, but all I did was copy an existing, and working, subregion moved it to the correct area and then edited it to make the shape I originally wanted.

The weird thing was that if I edited the subregion and pasted my layout shape, aligned with current view, it would make it elevate like before.
