cul-de-sac blues

I have a 24' wide road with 2.5' valley gutters.. 50' row..
The cul-de-sac settings are inner rad. outer rad. inner offset outer offset
2nd offset 3rd offset..
2nd and 3rd offset to what....this has been the most frustrating thing to deal with in my twenty years of CAD.. I moved from architecture to Civil and have no prior training in Civil Software...So Autodesk has made what should have been a simple process into a nightmare. I click on the help button on the cul-de-sac settings dialog box but nothing happens. Why would my help button not work..???

If you browse to your LDT installation folder, under Help folder is a Civil.CHM file that you should be able to double-click. If your IT dept. did not install the help files ( usually due to disk space or accepting a "Compact" install) it may not be there.

Here might be the cause of your woes as well:

reinstall removes help (http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/ps/item?siteID=123112&id=2899010&linkID=2475507)
