I have created a block tools pallette before where I was able to change the Auxiliary Scale to dimscale by doing a right click and going into properties. I am trying to create another one that I would be able to change that property also but I am not able to do that the area is greyed out so I am not able to select it. Is there someone that can tell me what I am doing wrong or send me a link to a tutorial?
Thanks,
Summer

how was the tool palette tool created? Is it from a library drawing, or an individual drawing. I have found that if a block on a tool palette is from an individual drawing, many of the right click options get greyed out and are not accessible (especially redefine block).

So what do you mean by a library versus an individual drawing. I am trying to do a source drawing with dynamic blocks to be placed in the palette this is not working for the auxiliary scale. I have also tried it through the design center and by opening a existing drawing but the only thing that I get is greyed out and non selectable areas. I know I can do this I have done it before but I just can not jog my memory at this time. Any help would be great.
Thanks

Is there a systems variable for this setting?

All right so here is what happened. I was trying to create a new custom cui file in the cui interface this file was placed ahead of other cui files so the load order was no longer what it was originally. So this file was over riding the elements in the tool palette properties so you were not able to change the auxiliary scale. I simply unloaded the custom cui file and am now able to change the property elements.
