Has anyone else noticed that when you create a custom spot elevation symbol, that, it mirrors itself when it is dragged below the origin (or reference point) of the leader line...?
Please see attached for an example:
The bottom spot elevation shows the symbol "as is" from the family - This is GOOD.
In the top spot elevation the symbol is upside down (mirrored) when the symbol is dragged below the point where the actual value is being read from. (I was thinking this is some kind of origin) - This is BAD.
I have tried changing many settings within the family, including "Keep text readable" etc... but nothing seems to work. Through my testing I have verified that it is actually mirroring, I just don't understand why..? It doesn't make sense. I even tried starting over from a "fresh" template, but that doesn't work either. No matter what the graphic is, it is defiantly mirroring.
At the end of the day we are just trying to maintain our standards, and while the out of the box settings let us covey the correct information, the way it is displayed graphically is not achievable at present, without compromise...
If anyone else has come across this issue, and may have some insight I would really appreciate hearing it.
Thanks!
