Levels not Showing up in Detail View

Hi all

I have a Detail View made, but my levels are not showing up

I have checked the levels box in the visibility graphics tab under annotation categories but they are still not showing.

Any suggestions?

Your levels might not be stretching to the extent of the area where the detail is located. It's the same principal as the grid lines. If gridline 4 doesn't go up to level 3 you won't see gridline 4 on level 3. Try stretching the level line across and see if that helps or propegate extents.

Unfortunately it hasn't solved the problem, they are still not showing up on the detail view.

Any other suggestions on what might be wrong?

Make sure that Levels are on the Shared Levels and Grids Workset, and that it is visible
in the detail view settings.

Also, as Karen mentioned, have you used "Propogate Extents" ?

I would also try a number of troubleshooting tactics like, creating another detail view somewhere else..perhaps on the same level, stretching the detail view to see if levels are showing on other levels, checking your view templates, worksets...
