Hi, I'm trying to model a structural frame within the course Parametric Design Tecniques ( www.tecnicheparametriche.com/2010 ).
I have some questions:
1) is it possible to match family parameters and project parameters? ( I'd like to associate some areas calculated within the project with the design load parameter that is within the beams family)
2)In order to calculate Moment of inertia values in a column family, I need to create a parameter that is expressed in centimeters (or meters, it's the same) raised to the 4-th power. Revit has just units of measurments raised to the square or to the cube.
Is it possible to create a new unit of measurement for my necessities?
