Filter for Lines

Is there any way to filter the "Lines" category? We use model lines for plaster control joints in elevation which tend to show up in plan and sometimes get deleted because you cant see whats really going on. I am looking for a way to hide these lines; preferably by the subcategory under lines or possibly all of the model lines... Either that or if there is a filter out that that can select only model or detail lines rather than all of them.

This seems to be a somewhat nebulous one in that VV shows Lines as a model category but object styles shows it under line styles.

You cannot currently apply filters to lines - the only easy way to control the visibility is to make sure that your plaster joint lines have a dedicated line style so they can be turned off independently. This is a good thing to include in your view template.
