I've got the old StoneCAD version 1 pattern files which I can get to you. They're great - really make the drawings look smashing. Sadly, recent versions of StoneCAD's hatches have been unusable by Revit (haven't tried them on R7) since they won't scale anywhere near large enough.

You should order the StoneCAD CD since Cultured Stone is a product most architects will specify at some point (?).

I would appreciate it very much, my email is david.kingham@neenan.com

I have looked through just about every thread involving STONE and PATTERN, and can't find any reference to how to indicate stone in SECTION. I have toyed with this for some time, both in AutoCAD and now in Revit, and have never seen a good way to draw this. My best attempt has just been to use 45 degree crosshatch, but that looks like CMU in section. The typical hand-drawn material indication for stone in section that I'm familiar with definitely does NOT lend itself to replication easily in computer form.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can tell me what they use for stone in section, especially at a scale of 1 1/2" = 1'-0" or so, for section details, etc.

Hey, Wes. Could you forward those old StoneCAD version 1 pattern files to me also. Thanks in advance.

Something I found over the years... I'm pretty sure it came from here.

Enjoy!

Thanks for that suggestion, Scott. I think I like that nice and simple solution. Different than CMU, similar to brick but different. And, available from typical AutoCAD .pat files, even though it doesn't come with Revit.
