Steel work

Hello, just wondering could anyone tell me how to decorate around steel work, i have inserted structural steel columns on my drawing they are left as 3D I shapes on my design. Could anyone help to guide in adding rounded plaster surrounds to these I columns as i dont like the look of them visually.

In Revit you have architectural columns and structural columns. Looks like you used a structural column, which is OK, but they behave differently. What you can do now is insert an architectural column on top of the structural column to act as a cladding. Or if your structural engineer will be using his own structural columns and replacing yours just edit your family and add the cladding to it.
