Cupola Massing

Hello All. I'm new to revit like many others and I think I may have a simple question. I have modeled a cupola as a mass object and loaded it into my project. I want to make it appear as a solid object. Is there any other way to make it visible in elevation views instead of making it something, like a wall or something? I guess if I were doing it in auto CAD i could leave it as a solid. Revit seems to want to make it something. I don't need all of the constructable info in the mass, due in part to the 2 dimensional detailing.

You can just change its material in the mass family to something solid. Just select the geometry, go to properties and in the material selection create the solid material you want.
