railings

i'm trying to make a stair with a railings that extend the whole way to the risers (no stringers), but i can't seem to figure out how. i took away the stringer but the railing still stops where the top of the stringer used to be, not at the riser itself.

never mind

when my stair had a stringer (by default), the railing was above the stringer, a few inches offset from the edge of the riser, when i got rid of the stringer the railing was floating in mid-air, but when i moved it over above the riser it extended the rest of the way.
