Material takeoff

Is there any way to colour a material take off table for presentation purposes for when i add it to the sheet? Without having the advanced subscription package.

Well apart from the ALT + N trick, which I read a while ago, but havn't tested yet. I suppose you could export it to an excel document, and change the colurs to hearts content, and port it into your drawing sheet as a OLE.
There is a great API called Revittools, that has some cool features on handling excel docs.
