Hey,
i was drawing a handrail for a stair i created. when the stair changes direction the rail splits. please see attached pic. was wondering if any one knows a fix for this.

Technically the rail going down the next run would be lower than where you have it....try to move your last three treads over one tread length. That way the stringers and railing will wind around that landing corner better.

Yep, typically a hand rail would either die into a newel post at the corner, or makes a short vertical run to get to the correct height on the lower flight. This is all because you have 2 risers directly adjacent at that one corner of the landing.
If you want it truly continuous and stay true to the correct heights above tread nosings, then you'll have to move the lower flight over by one tread depth, as Michael mentioned.
