I just found out that a little program I use called Easy Rafters, http://www.easyrafters.com/, exports to .dxf. (2d)
Makes me wonder if it could be a jump start to parametric families of rafters.
Oh, the possibilities, the variables, the headaches.

Thats a potentially useful program thanks ~ we'll have to wait for meric version ~
very useful for contractor /supplier relationships.
Pity that it doesn't calculate loads ~ I could really use a simple program like that for Post & Beam Purlins Rafter Calcs all basic simple Timber stuff ~ any links out there??
