Project Twitch / Chrome OS

So, if Project Twitch (or similar) becomes usable to save files, etc, and we have fast browser-oriented OSs, will our Revit future become independent of local computers?

I could see it if Autodesk sold the Twitch infrastructure so a company could host their own version of it. I don't want to trust my 250 users productivity to an Internet connection outage. I heard that Google is going to make its Wave platform capable of being hosted locally. I'd hope the same of Autodesk's Twitch.

The Twitch technology would also make Autodesk platforms OS independent allowing for firms to use which every OS was best for them. This would be a huge positive.

I would definitely try to implement it if they make it able to be hosted locally.
