Coloured room schemes

Hi

i have prepared plans on revit and have coloured them using the Room Area command where you can show area of room, room name and room number. In this instance i have duplicated the original floor plan and first floor plan and i have tried to remove the coloured room areas to have a plan coloured and have a plan that is only black and white, could anyone explain to me how to show it coloured in one plan but not the other.
