i've been messing around in 3D in Acad2010 for a few weeks now and am still trying to get the hang of it... well, i was messing around with some of the lighting features and printed off a nice looking page... well, now there's an arrow facing downward on my drawing and i can't get rid of it... and my computer bogging down didn't happen until i had messed with that... what is it and how can i get rid of it??? i've been trying to get rid of it since yesterday afternoon and have turned off all light features and everything else... can someone help me out please??? i feel like i'm doing 3D in 2000...

Is it an arrow with a red disk on top of it? If so, its the geo marker that gets inserted when you set up a sun and a geographical location. There's a command to turn it off. I'll need to do some research to remember it again! I'll let you know when I find it.

If that's not it, can you post a screen shot?

okay, found it.

To get rid of it, type GEOGRAPHICLOCATION, and choose to delete it.

If you just want the marker to not be visible, type GEOMARKERVISIBILITY.

YES!!! that's it!!! haha... thank you so much... in "realistic" view and "conceptual" view, it's a white arrow or cone with a red disc on top... when in 3D wireframe view, it turns to an arrow... thank you so much again... i was about ready to throw my mouse through my computer... hahaha...
