Hi all,
When I use the masking region tool to correct some details or junctions I draw a rectangle and proceed to use the detail line command to draw in the correct lines. When I draw these lines they are there but appear to be under masking region. As you can see in the attachment I selected the lines so you can see the blue dots of the ends of the lines but I am unable to see the lines on top.
Thanks
Paul

In 2010 when you pick on a detail object such as a masking region look to the ribbon. The context sensitive ribbon will have a "Bring to Front" or "Send to Back" option there.
You can bring thing forward a little at a time or bring to the top. Same with the send back option.
Just pick on it first!

Send masking region to the back.
However you'll want to have that masking region drawn with invisible lines so that the region outline is not visible.
Now, may I ask what it is you're trying to correct on a plan view, especially at 1 : 100 scale? Using masking regions and drafting lines in that matter isn't really the best way to go about things in Revit, at least not for smaller-scale plans. I might do that on a larger-scale detail, but in that case I would usually hide the model elements completely and use detail components to show the actual construction of that wall intersection.

Patricks is so right. Revit is not the tool you want to be drafting in a floor plan view with.
If you keep in mind that there are no shortcuts in Revit you will work on doing things right at first and not have to "fix" them later.

For junctions like this, uou may want to use the edit cut profile tool. Cna't tell what was wrong from your image.
