View Full Version : View depth affects corner cleanup

I've just noticed that if I draw a double leaf wall with the outer leaf extended at the bottom,
then change the view depth to -10, I lose all the corner cleanups, they change to butt.

I haven't gone down the path of trying to isolate the problem yet, is it something that I'm doing wrong?
I tried closing the view & re-opening and I went to a plot preview and it still showed the same.

This is Revit 7, latest build.

You need to miter the corner using the wall join tool.

But they were mitred, why does changing the view depth change them to butt joins.

Are they more than one level? I think you can have multiple wall join conditions. If you pick the wall join tool in the view you are showing and click miter does it fix? If not I'm not sure why. Maybe you need to change the finish to wrap at exterior in your wall structure.
