BIM Modification

I've imported a BIM shower faucet and the Head-Valve-Spout need to be repositioned since they are real close to one another and not like they should be in real world. When I pick the faucet I get a box as if it's a grouped unit and when exploding it all I get is a 2D or an error.

Is there I trick to splitting these apart?

Sounds like you got a Family that has imported CAD geometry from some other platform inside it. You wont have much luck seperating it. Time to make one from scratch. :)
