Phantom ceiling plan?!?

i am working on a reflected ceiling plan with several areas of sloped ceilings. When i try to adjust the sketch profile, the ceilings disappear. i can no see or select them in the ceiling plan but they still show up in section and in the main model. I'm at a complete loss. help!!!

Try editing the ceiling from your floor plan - do the sketch lines show there ?

i figured out the problem (sort of) When i increased the view depth they reappeared. i still don't know why they showed up before editing but didn't after editing under the same view range, but i can let that go for now since my ceilings are back :-)

Because sketch lines are model lines and they show on the plane on which they were created, ..if that makes sense.
