room tags

I'm working away on my project. I have all of my floor plans, as layout plans at 1:200. I have added all the necessary room names/tags. Now I am placing call outs to add dimensions and annotations to the Typical rooms, which will be at 1:50. I would like to have the room tags, that I have already placed show up in my call outs of those rooms. What is the best way of doing that? I cannot just place a new tag as it is already a room and gives me an error. Ideally I would like the existing tags just to show up at the correct scale. Thanks for any advice.

Are you trying to place a new room, or a new room TAG? They are different. You CAN place a new room TAG, thats exactly what you should do. If it gives you an error, its because youre using the Room Button, which is set to also place a tag on placement.

Or, if you like, you can copy and paste the room tag from the original plan.

As Aaron suggested you need to place tags not additional rooms. You'll find the fastest way is to use the 'Tag all not Tagged' option on the annotate tab
