Return Borrowed License on Reformatted Drive?

What would be the proper way to go about returning a lic on a laptop that had to be reformatted.The lic will not expire until Feb 2011.The lmutil is of no use.Is there something on the server side?

You probably figured this out already, but I'm afraid you are out of luck. You will just have to shift some resources around and wait for the orphaned license to return after the expiration date. And you should limit the borrow time.
