Did I lose the function of "last selected"?

How you could hit the left arrow key to aquire what you last had selected, is it no longer in v.7?

You didn't lose it, it just changed a bit CTRL+Left Arrow will deliver last selected. The left arrow (all the arrow keys for that matter) has some new power now as they work as "nudge" tools.

in 7.0 arrows are used for nudging, so Select previous is now Right Click menu or ctrl left arrow.
