Revit 2010 w SP2
We have a handfull of PC's that randomly have slow startups. Instead 1-2 minutes, we're talking 6-10 minutes (if the user waits that long...). The impatient users typically end the process, then re-launch the app with better luck, but not all the time.
After reviewing the jounal files from when the issue occured, I've narrowed it down to one of two sections.
1. InitInstance (see screenshot below)
This is only one line item and it alone took ~ 5 minutes in this example.
2. Loading available hardware/plotters (see screenshot below)
This can also take some time to complete, but not every time. I've clipped out most of this section because it's pretty long. I left the beginning and the end. This one took ~ 6 minutes to get thru just this section of the journal.
Like I said, it's only a handfull of users that experience this and it's not all the time.
Any thoughts on what could be causing either of these slow-downs?
