Element Type Icon?

Are the icons that show up when you hover over a type in the pull down menu customizable? i want to put in a section of the wall rather than the plan view. the plan view gives you pretty much zero information and would like to either have the section of the actual wall or i would even be fine with a dummy image that i would create.

No, They cannot be customized.
